July 6 – The Avengers (2012) (PG)
Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, and Thor to form a team that must stop Thor’s brother Loki from subjugating Earth.

July 13 – The Jungle Book (2016) (PG)
Based on Rudyard Kipling’s eponymous collective works and inspired by Walt Disney’s 1967 animated film of the same name, The Jungle Book is a live-action / CGI film that tells the story of Mowgli, an orphaned human boy who, guided by his animal guardians, sets out on a journey of self-discovery while evading the threatening Shere Khan.

July 20 – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) (PG)
A spin-off of the Harry Potter series set in 1920s New York City.

July 27 – A Christmas Story (1983) (PG)
Nine-year-old Ralphie Parker wants only one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model air rifle.

August 3 – Grease A-Sing-Along (1978) (PG -13)
A 1978 American musical romantic comedy film and musical depicting the life of Rydell High School students.

August 10 – Jaws (1975) (PG)
A 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on Peter Benchley’s 1974 novel, in which a giant man-eating great white shark attacks beachgoers on Amity Island, a fictional New England summer resort town, prompting the local police chief to hunt it with the help of a marine biologist and a professional shark hunter.

August 17 – Zootopia (2016) (PG)
A film by Disney Animation Studios that depicts unlikely partnership between a rabbit police officer and a red fox con artist as they uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of savage predator inhabitants of a mammalian metropolis.

August 24 – Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971) (PG)
This 1971 musical tells the story of Charlie Bucket, who receives a Golden Ticket and visits Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory with four other children from around the world.

Movies on the Beach is every Thursday from July 6-August 24. Children’s activities are at 8pm; the featured movie begins at 8:30pm. In the event of rain, the movie will be shown in Convention Hall.
