Individuals, businesses, non-profits, school groups, youth groups – all are invited to participate in this 10th Annual Scarecrow Contest!
Create your own scarecrow that will take up residence beside dozens of others along “Scarecrow Alley” this Halloween season, when the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate are transformed into a spectacle of scary and sill, all original, handmade specters.
Register your entry and compete for prizes, with an overall prize of $200 earmarked for the People’s Choice Award given to the creator of the Scarecrow that receives the most votes from visitors to the Estate. Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities

Take a scenic hayride through the farm where you will see our crops including broccoli, cabbage, green beans, squash, tomatoes, pole beans, & more! We drop you off at the pumpkin patch for family pics or to pick your very own pumpkin. Our drivers will return to pick you up to drive through the rest of our farm with a quick stop at our corn maze to pick up and drop off advanced paid corn maze customers. Toddler hay maze is FREE and open daily 10am-sunset.
Hayride, corn-maze, & pumpkin patch – Weekdays 3pm-6pm, Sat. and Sun. 10am-6pm
Skip the pumpkin patch and stay on board and head right to the corn maze on our farms hayride and get lost in our corn field while playing corn-maze bingo. Be sure to bring your own flashlight or our farm will have flashlights and glow sticks available for purchase. The Lower Township Department of Parks and Recreation in conjunction with the Lower Township Healthy Youth Coalition and the Delaware River and Bay Authority will host Lower Township Autumn Fest on Sunday Oct. 28 beginning at 10 a.m. The event will feature a variety of food trucks, vendors, live music, kids activities including inflatables and games.
