A New holiday tradition for the entire family brought to you by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Gerald M. Thornton – Director Leonard C. Desiderio – Vice-Director, E. Marie Hayes, Will Morey, Jeffrey L. Pierson. The celebration will include live holiday music, a story reading, train rides, ice sculpture demonstration, treats for the children and a visit by the jolly man himself in the red suit.

Watch a festive line-up of floats, fire trucks and other decorated vehicles parade down the streets of the Wildwoods accompanied by Santa himself! Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. at the North Wildwood Recreation Center (10th and Central Avenues). Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m. and the parade starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. with a new route and followed by a Tree Lighting Ceremony & Parade Awards at 7:30 p.m., in a NEW LOCATION: Byrne Plaza, Oak & Pacific Avenues, Wildwood, NJ. The rain date is Sunday December 3.

Enjoy some old fashioned holiday cheer when the City of Cape May officially kicks off the holiday season on Friday, Dec. 1st at 7 p.m. with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the renovated Rotary Park Bandstand located on the 400 block of Lafayette Street. The festive family program will include caroling, a presentation from the Lower Cape May Regional High School choir, and a special visit from Santa Claus. Cape May City officials, representatives for the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May and Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities will also participate in the ceremony.

Join us at the Ocean City Community Center for a Tree Lighting ceremony, live music, special guests, refreshments, a visit from the man in red, and lots of family-friendly entertainment! Including a Photo Booth and special gifts for the first 200 guests. The Historical Museum will be hosting Mrs. Claus’s Market as well as a Trolley History Tour of Downtown and Lifesaving Station. Tickets are $10 for adults and children under 16 are free with an accompanying adult. Tours will run 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, and 4:30pm.
