The festival begins at 5 p.m. along the bay front in North Cape May between Lincoln Boulevard and Emerson Avenue. Amusement rides are traditionally located on Washington Boulevard and Franklin Avenue. The event will also feature food vendors, game, entertainment and fun for the entire family. Performing live music along the bay will be the fabulous Cape May Diamonds Band along with rockers, The Zone and Wesley Ochs and the Banana Trio. As the festival winds down around 8:45 p.m., grab your beach blankets and chairs and head down to the bay to watch the fireworks illuminate the Delaware Bay. The fireworks will start shortly after 9 p.m. and are one of the largest pyrotechnic shows in the region.

This year’s fireworks will begin with a celebrity reading of the Declaration of Independence and will include other famous quotes from notable Americans, followed by popular celebratory music by artists performing in Atlantic City this year. With countless viewing areas throughout the city, spectators will set up along Atlantic City’s World Famous Boardwalk, at one of the many beach bar parties or viewing events, on the Steel Pier, in the Marina District, or at one of Atlantic City’s luxury casino resorts to take in this year’s stunning fireworks shows.
