DINNER & FIREWORKS: 6:15-10 p.m., watch from atop the Cape May Lighthouse. Participants go by trolley from Washington Street Mall Information booth to the Red Store in Cape May Point for a five-course dinner by Chef Lucas Manteca, then take trolley to Cape May Lighthouse and climb to the top to watch fireworks from the watch gallery. It is $22 for adults, $15 for children ages 5-12, and 4 and under are free. No reservations are needed although guests are welcome to do so! Open to the public.  Carnival Games are also open to the public from 5pm to 9pm and it is $3 per ticket for games. Tickets are not able to be purchased in advance.

 

Cape May Whale Watcher July 3rd & July 4th – Fireworks Excursion 2017: Join the Stewart Family and the Crews of the Cape May Whale Watcher and Spirit of Cape May as we celebrate our great Nation’s Independence Day!
Trip includes FREE Pizza and Hot Dogs, a little dolphin watching, hopefully a sunset, and of course the FIREWORKS DISPLAY. Also available on board the Ship, we have our cash bar with Fountain Sodas, Bottled Water, Hot Coffee, Cocoa and Tea, Ice Cream, Snacks, Wine by the Glass, Draft Beer and Mixed Cocktails.

LIVE ANIMAL SHOW: 11 a.m.- noon at Cape May Point State Park, showcasing native and exotic residents. Meet live snakes, turtles, frogs, lizards and bugs. Hands-on program, so anyone with bug spray or sunscreen on hands cannot handle some animals.Cost is $1 per person, free for 3 and younger. Museum Classroom, 305 Lighthouse Ave., Cape May Point. WILDWOOD

Independence Day Family Parade

Check in from 8:15 a.m. at 9th & Atlantic Avenues, North Wildwood. Parade begins at 9 a.m. at 9th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood and proceeds north to 1st & Surf Avenues. No rain date . Patriotic Pooch Parade

The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march of the Independence Day Parade through the island at Bill Henfey Park, 8th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood. Check-in for parade participants will be from 8:15 a.m., parade at 9 a.m. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will parade along the streets of the Wildwoods dressed in patriotic garb alongside decorated bicycles. 10:00am Opening Ceremonies immediately followed by Candy Scramble, then foot races, then slow bike races, then decorated bike contest
10:00 am Phillies Home Run Derby start

***Fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 2nd and can be seen at any beach end!  They are being set off a barge in 2017 off of 95th St. Approx 9:00pm (or when dark)
