Ring in the season at Somers Point’s annual Holiday Parade. This exciting and merry parade feature live music, fire trucks, festively decorated floats and SANTA CLAUS! The parade runs down Shore Road, beginning at Dawes Ave. and ending at New Jersey Ave.  At City Hall, families can enjoy refreshments provided by Sturdy, a festive ceremony, and meet Santa Claus for pictures and a treat. This year marks the 2nd Annual Float Competition! We encourage you to consider decorating a float and joining the parade; it is free to enter. The winner will have their name/group engraved on Somers Point’s Holiday Cup Trophy and get to display it for a full year!!! Each year, the female alpacas (aka “the girls”) like to get dressed up in holiday scarves and have their picture taken with their adoring fans! 🙂 This is another opportunity to get “up close and personal” in the pen for some great photos! This year, we are planning two Photoshoot Days, on Saturday, November 18th and Saturday, December 2nd, both 10am-4pm. Come enjoy the alpacas, plus hot chocolate and goodies, and of course, holiday shopping in our farm store! Santa is coming to Congress Hall’s Grand Ball Room! Every Saturday and Sunday of Winter Wonderland, enjoy a delicious breakfast and visit with Jolly Old St. Nick. Ride through Cape May’s Historic District to see festively decorated inns and homes as guides talk about Victorian Christmas traditions, lead sing-alongs, and play Christmas music. Rides last about 30 minutes. Rides start at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, except Nov. 18, when rides start at the Physick Estate.
