The female, and, of course, naturally blond trio Blondage will perform a free St. Patrick’s Day concert at the Ocean City Arts Center 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 14. The group consists of lead singer Linda Moore, guitarist and mandolinist Susan Salmon, and Susan Davenport on violin and fiddle. The band sings everything from Irish music to rock to country. No reservations are necessary. Donations to the Arts Center are appreciated.

The 3rd Annual Carney’s St. Paddy’s Polar Plunge, 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, March 16th, 2019. This year’s event will benefit the Children’s Fresh Air Home located in North Wildwood. Children’s Fresh Air Home is a non-profit that provides a no-cost, enriching summer experience at the Jersey Shore in a safe, positive environment for children.
Participate in one event, freeze your butt off in both, or cheer on participants. After party and awards will follow the plunge at Carney’s.
All participants receive a long sleeve shirt.

Sea Isle City will celebrate its rich Irish heritage on Saturday, March 16, with the resort’s 2019 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade along Landis Avenue, 83rd to 63rd Street, starting at 3:30 p.m. The annual Celtic procession will include live pipe-and-drum music, Irish residents, Municipal and County officials, Sea Isle’s 2019 ‘Irish Royal Family’ and many other participants wearing their finest green attire.
Prior to the start of the parade, Mayor Desiderio and his family will host their annual ‘Irish Celebration’ at Kix McNutley’s on 63rd Street. A ‘Best Dressed’ competition will be held at 2:00 p.m. The contest is open to all residents and visitors. Prizes will be awarded to the contest’s winners in two categories: ‘Best Dressed Irish Individual’ and ‘Best Dressed Irish Group
